How can I see the Spam that's been caught & filtered?
Absolutely.  By default, all mail that's tagged as spam is not automatically deleted, and is placed in a special folder called 'Caught-Spam', which can be access in WebMail or via IMAP.

To view the Spam filtered on your account, simply log into WebMail by opening a web browser and browsing to :

    1. ISP Members: (If your mail is something@world-net.net)

Click Here or go to http://www.world-net.net/webmail

    2. Web/Mail Hosting Members:

http://mail.domain.com/webmail   (Where domain.com is your actual domain name)

Inside Webmail, you will see a folder labeled 'Caught-Spam' which contains all the mail that's been filtered.

If you see some mail you would like to keep, you may simply place a checkmark next to the one(s) you wish to keep, then select the MOVE button sending them to your INBOX in WebMail where they will be downloaded next time you check mail in Outlook (or whatever method you may utilize).

ADVANCED TECHNICAL INFO : Members with SHELL access can SSH/Telnet into the mail server and use PINE or other IMAP clients to view the spam folder and mail.

How often is Spam cleaned out? Do I need to pay attention to it?

Manual intervention is NOT required. We automatically clean.

Every night (usually 2am CST), the mail servers comb through all of our members mailboxes, emptying any trash in the trash folders, and checking the Caught-Spam folders.

IF the total amount of Caught-Spam exceeds 5 megabytes, the Spam folder is emptied; Otherwise it is left untouched until the next check.

Members that receive a very large amount of spam may have their folder cleaned nightly where other's may last for weeks.
