helluva hurricane
1 or 2 oz dark rum (Meyer's or better)
1 or 2 oz light rum
2 oz orange juice
2 oz pineapple juice
2 tsp grenadine (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp sugar
1 oz 151 rum
cherries / pineapple / sugar cube
pour dark rum, light rum, juices, and grenadine
in pilsner/parfait glass, over ice...
add sugar, stir slightly, top with 151 and cherries/pineapple
and (optional) sugar cube & light it up...
...best served with two straws
and slammed between close friends.
... substitute Malibu coconut rum
in place of one of the three
for a totally excellent, super-tropical flavor.
