2011 Golf Appreciation Day

 

GUIDELINES/PROCEDURES

 

Procedures for 2011 will be announced later – use the following for planning purposes.

 

Thank you for volunteering for the 2011 Valero Texas Open. Because of the time that you volunteered, and the generosity of our partners at Miller Global Properties and TPC San Antonio you have qualified for a free round of golf at the AT&T Oaks or AT&T Canyons Course at the TPC San Antonio.

Only tournament volunteers who worked 18 hours or more are eligible for the complimentary round of golf.

 

Your round can be scheduled by calling the TPC San Antonio anytime within 72 hours of the day being requested at 210-491-5806.

 

This round is non-transferable and only for the volunteer who worked the allotted number of hours.

The complimentary round of golf can be scheduled as follows:

Monday – Wednesday (ANYTIME)

When making your plans, please note that the Oaks Course is closed until noon on Monday’s and the Canyons is closed until noon on Tuesday’s

Thursday – Sunday – after 12 noon.

Dates of play June 18, 2010 – August 31, 2010

If inclement weather closes the course or prohibits you from finishing your round on the day that you have scheduled your volunteer round, TPC San Antonio staff will determine alternate arrangements (within our window of play). No additional dates will be added after August 31, so do not wait until the last day to play your round.

 

You can schedule your tee time with other volunteers, or you can invite up to three guests at a special rate of $99 per player plus tax. You must have two players in order to book a tee time. Volunteers must provide a credit card number if reserving slots for guests. For guests who fail to show, the credit card on file will be billed for the greens fees.

YOU MUST CALL TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU NAME IS ON THE LIST. PLEASE DO NOT JUST SHOW UP TO USE YOUR ROUND. If your name is not on the list, you will need to wait until the GSA office has been reached and is able to verify that you are able to use that round, and then go through the 72 hour tee time requirement.

There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. If volunteers fail to show, your round will be forfeited, no exceptions.
